Just wrapped up a shoot at 1609 E Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks, and this one was a genuinely charming property to spend a morning with.

It's a guest house that earns the name. At 1,300 square feet it has everything — full kitchen, large master suite upstairs with its own bathroom, washer and dryer in the unit. That kind of self-sufficiency in a secondary dwelling is rarer than you'd think, and it photographs well because you're showing a complete life, not just a room. Outside there are patios, a pool, and gated parking, which rounds the whole picture out nicely.

I handled interior and exterior photography on this one, taking my time with both the indoor spaces and the outdoor areas to make sure the full character of the property came through.
